Using libusb 0.1.2.6.  TestLibUsb reports dll version 0.1.2.6, driver version -1.-1.-1.-1, and that's the problem.  tryUSBDM finds 1 bus with no devices even though device manager says there are 2.  HiWave debugger in Legacy Codewarrior has no issues.  What (where) is the missing driver?  I admit that tryUSBDM is ancient but it interfaces the bus using libusb api's.

Hi Laurence,

Sorry but I find your question very confusing and have only the vaguest memory of tryUSBDM although I presume it has to do with USBDM :smileyhappy:.

I have no real idea what you are asking but it may be useful to note that USBDM changed to libusb-V1 around V4.9.3 (March 2012) from libusb-win32 (libusb-V0.1) so this may account form some of your mixed results.  It also changed the PID/VID along the way.

If you are using an old enough BDM it may actually be 'pretending' to be a TBDML.  So all round it can be very confusing.

What exactly are you trying to do?

What software are you using (including version - do you actually mean 4.6.10.220 or 4.10.6.220?)

What hardware?

bye
