Hi, To read out the flash data of the MPC5634 chip, you can use a programmer like the Lauterbach TRACE32 or P&E Micro's Multilink Universal. USBDM might not be the best choice for MPC5634, as its support for this chip is very limited and no longer maintained.

Regarding the firmware file you mentioned (USBDM_JMxx_MC56F8006Demo_V4.sx), it is a specialized version of the usual USBDM_JM16/60 code for the MC56F8006Demo hardware. You can find more information about the MC56F8006Demo in its Quick Start Guide.

Please note that it's essential to choose a programmer with proper support for the MPC5634 chip to ensure successful flash data readout.

Try a web search on MC56F80006Demo

https://www.digikey.com.au/htmldatasheets/production/553124/0/0/1/mc56f8006demo-quick-start-guide.ht...

This is just a specialised version of the usual USBDM_JM16/60 code for the above hardware.

Note that support for MC56F8xxx is very limited and non longer supported.  It was very limited to start with and it's too much work I'm afraid.

bye
