USBDM_JM60 TBDML errror message

Hello everyone,

                      i have rigged up the ckt for BDM pod given in USBDM_JM60 distribution, and have tried the download code for hcs12 target (mc9s12dg256) using TBDML. it works well till the selection of the target(we have to manually select the target as TBDML does not identify chip id(0x0033), and the progress bar moves upto 33% and after that i get an error message saying"Error while loading diagnostics alogrithm to Target system.The chip may be secured ,or the derivative selected may be wrong".

So if anyone knows solution to this plaese reply.

Dear pgo, 

             i have sent the gerber files of the  usbdm  pcb v1.6  for manufacturing , the pcb person says that component values we get printed on the smd pad and will difficult for component mounting. 

is there any gerber files for the pcb  which do not have component values on the smd  pads?

Dear Raghu,

I've used the USBDM with a similar chip, the MC9S12DG128 without problems.

Try running TBDML HCS12->Unsecure.

Also check the reset and BKGD signals with a CRO to check if the hardware appears to be working OK.
