I am trying to use USBDM with an MCF5373 and an MCF5475. The Coldfire V2,3,4 Programmer doesn't have them in it's list. Where can I find the information I need to put in the XML file so that I can program these chips? Do I also need a special file for these chips? Is there different flash software I can use that already supports these chips and a USBDM hardware.

Hi Justin,

I believe these chips do not have on-chip Flash.

While it would be possible, in theory, to program external Flash I have not tried it nor have the resources to experiment with.

Previously USBDM supported the 'old' Coldfire programmer utility program from Freescale but I believe this does not work with later versions of Windows.

The USBDM interface should be able to communicate with these devices but again I have no way of testing this.
