Hello,

I have a board with 2.7kΩ working fine, so the problem would be somewhere else.

You can describe the symptoms you have, so we can look at it.
Are you using TBDML ? (just to be sure, otherwise I'll move to the 16-bit MCU board)

Cheers,
Alban.

yes, its TBDML

I connect bdm and reset line by 3,4k ohm to 5V from USB.
effect is always the same after start TrueTimeSimulator$RealTimeDebuger:

"Unable to connect to the target CPU"

 iam using latest CW4.5 ,
MC912DT128A and MC9S12DT256B  both with 16MHz
I tested all connection  and dont know what can be  wrong??

which setting of J5 and J6  are reccomend??

is any method to test the TBDML if it works fine to exclude problem with it and concentrate on target bord and conection.  a thing a shema  of TBDML is ok and there wasnt any problem in programing it and install USB DLL.

Hi,

recommended settings are J5 open and J6 closed (providing the target has its own supply of power).

What values does the debugger show when you select "TBDML HCS12"->"Show Status"? The BDM status register should show non-zero and non-FF value (typically 0xC0 or 0xC2) and the Crystal frequency indicated should be 16MHz in your case.

Hi Daniel,

The gif shows FF for the status register and the clock is ok as shows 16MHz.
May be the device has been erased but not unsecured ?

Alban.
