Bought me USBDM And be programmable
MC9S08SG8CTG, These are error messages I get up

programming of the target flash failed

selected BDM not found

programming of the target flash failed
reasonable target Bkgd Buttons timeout

programming of the target has faied

please cycle power to target

retery connection

For neither MC9S08SG8CTG in Hcs08 programs USBDM-1-JS16

Can anybody help me ?? I'm new to this and are grateful for all the help

Hi Arild,

It is rather unclear when the above error message are appearing! 

Can you check the following:

• Are the drivers the latest (from sourceforge) USBDM - Browse /Version 4.12.1/Drivers at SourceForge.net 
• Is the software the latest version USBDM - Browse /Version 4.12.1/Software at SourceForge.net 
• Have you updated the firmware in the BDM to match the installed software? USBDM: BDM Construction and Firmware 
• Check in hardware manager (assuming windows) and confirm that the BDM appears correctly:

• Run the stand-alone programmer and confirm the software version is reported correctly at the bottom of the page.
