I've installed CW as admin, run this in admin mode, change instalation folder and nothing works. I've already tried to run USBDM x.x.x.x ->Codewarrior Wizard Patches->Refresh Codewarrior 10.6 Configuration but without sucess. These plugins just doesn't install in my computer. Can anyone help? (I am using Windows7 64bits, and tried all of this with CW 10.5 and 10.6.4).

Hi Michael,

I believe I have found the reason.

One of the manifests for plugins referenced an unneeded file.  On the machines I tested it found the file in the MINGW installation so worked.

I finally found a machine that failed and then it was easy to find what I hope is the problem.

I am uploading 4.12.1.100 which should fix this.  This is from home so takes a while and the upload has been known to fail so be patient.  I will check the upload tomorrow.

bye

Thanks pgo for the hint with the update site. Worked good for me. This resolved my crash problem on Ubuntu! Now I can use usbdm under ubuntu 16.04 lts!

Hi Wenderson,

I've checked on a second machine and it also installs OK. I don't have a 32-bit machine to check on at the moment.  It should not be affected by this since CW is only 32-bit anyway but I will see if I can find a machine to test on.

  • Do the stand-alone tools install correctly?
  • Is Codewarrior detected by the installer? It should appear ticked in one of the windows.

    • You can also try to install the plugin manually in Codewarrior- A bit complicated.
      • pastedImage_14.png
      • Click Add
      • pastedImage_15.png
      • pastedImage_19.png
      • The plugin is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\pgo\UpdateSite
  • pastedImage_21.png
  • Click Next and see how it goes.
  • Please report any error or problems.

Thanks

Hi pgo,

I've tried that, but this appears already installed, as you can see below

Do you know if there is an reset or something like that in CW configurations?

Thanks again!
