Hi,
I purchased an Axiom APS12C128 board off eBay since Axiom doesn't make this board anymore. They make an updated one but the APS12C128 is the board that is required for my class. I did some research and I think the updated board will work too since it has the same processor, but I since I already spent money on this board I would like to try to get it working before buying something else.
I installed CodeWarrior 5.2 and the accompanied drivers on my Windows 10 computer. Codewarrior works, but I get an Unknown USB device (Invalid Configuration Descriptor Error) in device manager for the APS12C128 board and the driver fails to be found or install even if I point device manger to the PEmicro install folder. According to the error I get the device is being prevented from running in windows 10 due to the configuration error. I tried to use an older window 8 computer, and although I don't get an Invalid Configuration Descriptor Error the driver fails to be found or to install.
According to the manual for this board it should be fully compatible with codewarrior and the drivers for either USB Multilink 2.0 or the Turbo BDM (I believe Turbo BDM Light USB (LibUSB-W32) depending on the board revision. According to the manual these should automatically install if CodeWarrior is already installed. They are not automatically installing.
If someone could help me get this board working/ help me find the correct drivers ASAP I would appreciate it since I have some homework due later this week that I need this board for. I plan to flash the serial monitor program so that I can easily upload projects over hyper terminal in the future from my main computer (The board currently has the demo program on it).
I attached pictures of the board I have as a reference. I also sent Axiom a support email about this, but didn't hear back so the NXP support representative I spoke with recommended posting here. I also have a windows XP computer I can try if needed (Did not accept the software I had last I tried it).
Thank you in advance for your help and taking the time to read this.
