In this hands-on session, the low-power consumption features and advantages of Freescale KL series MCU will be introduced in-depth, and attendees will learn how to configure the MCU to enter low-power mode, and how to implement the low-power ADC function by practicing on the KL26 target board. Attendees will also learn how to use FreeMASTER (a free tool from Freescale) to monitor and display the running program on the MCU. The Kinetis Software Development Kit (KSDK) is an extensive set of robust peripheral drivers, communication stacks, middleware and sample applications designed to simplify and accelerate the development in any Kinetis MCU. The addition of Processor Expert technology for software support and board configuration provides ease of use and unmatched flexibility. The Kinetis SDK is free and includes full source code under an open-source permissive license  for all hardware and software abstraction of peripheral drivers.
