Questions about the "MC3377xB BC Set Individual" cell balancing block in MBDT for S32K1xx

I'm referring to the block at NXP Model-Based Design Toolbox for S32K1xx MCUs/External Devices/Battery Management System/BMS/MC3377xB BC Set Individual

What does the block do? My guess is that when enabled it closes a circuit that includes the cell (specified by Cell Index and CID) and a resistor (on FRDM33771BTPLEVB) so that the cell is drained.

Does the Enable/Disable port need to receive a single true pulse in order turn on balancing for the duration specified by Timer?

Does the Enable/Disable port need to be held true for the timer duration?

What happens if the Enable/Disable port receives a true pulse before the timer has finished? Does the timer start over or is the true pulse ignored?

Can this block be used to balance (drain) a battery in BATT-14AAAPACK connected to the FRDM33771BTPLEVB as in the following setup? So far, I haven't been able to make it work.
