I have been trying the follow along with the video series for BLDC Motor Control with MBDT Training course and the devkit I had purchased from NXP was not of the same type as the training course. So, I have been following the examples along until I need to change PN of my application. In starting with the ADC programming tutorial number 4, I changed the Target type to my target board (an MPC5748G). When I do this, the ADC config and the ADC start blocks appear to say that ADC is unsupported by the MCU. This does not seem to be correct. This is also happening when I launch Simulink examples and switch the Target to my MPC5748G. Based on manual excerpt, I have quite a bit of ADC available to me... Please help...
Hello zcampbell@amshowa.com,
Unfortunately the message is right. The MBDT toolbox does not currently support the ADC conversions on MPC5748G. The MPC5744P is more suitable for motor control applications.
Hope this helps,
Marius
