With the introduction of MIFARE Plus® EV1 NXP enables universities currently using MIFARE Classic to introduce latest technology in the existing system, upgrade the security of applications depending on their needs and complement daily use cases with mobile devices. Through the option to upgrade individual applications of your system fast security upgrades for critical applications are possible whereas non-critical applications remain in the existing mode without any changes. MIFARE Plus EV1 further includes the option to complement existing applications with mobile use cases. Through its enhanced possibilities MIFARE Plus EV1 based cards can now easily be integrated in cloud applications while maintain banking grade security.
