Enable onboard MIC of MIMXRT685-EVK

Hi, 

I hope everything is safe and sound

Currently I'm working with MIMXRT685-EVK and I'm new bee so I started performing demo example for build a understanding towards board. Now i want to enable onboard MIC and perform a sound test on board and I' following MCUXpresso IDE demo example dmic_i2s code for that but can't able to build understanding in right manner. 

Can anyone help me with this?

It would be really appreciate.

Please check my reply, your main issue is caused by the wrong connection with ：

JP7-1 <--> JP8-2
