Hello,

I'm working on the NHS3152 demoboard and was working on the NHS3100 demoboard.

I'm working on it since few week and today i shorted Vdd and Gnd on processor but i can't figure why.

I listed few possibility :

-ESD (I have several per day with objects.

- Too much pin drive in same time (only 3 or 4 here) ?

- firmware (a problem in my code ?)

-Alimentation problem ( i use external alimentation) and diode still work

I had the same problem on my last demoboard. After days of operating it shorted.

if you have any idea i would be grateful.

Thank you for your time,

Yvan

Update :

I tried to remove the component and put a new one. It work well now...

I deduce the cause of my problem was ESD. I should have taken more precaution about it before.

I put an NHS3100 on the NHS3152DEMOADK board. Could it be problematic ? Ofc i can't and use analog part.

Hi,

The IC's are pin compatible, so it should be OK. The same recommendations apply for both.

BR,
Dries.
