I am trying to write a simple URL to an NFC chip (NT3H2111W0FHKH). This is an NTAG I²C plus 1K, NFC Forum Type 2 Tag with I²C interface optimized for entry-level NFC applications. According to NXP, I should be able to password protect the tag in order to prevent unauthorized memory operations. I am using the NXP TagWriter app on Android but can not seem to protect the data. Whenever I try to password protect it, it says the chip is not compatible. Any thoughts?
TIA
Is there anyone on here who I can hire to write this app?
Hi ,
Please kindly refer to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nxp.ntagi2cdemo&hl=en_US instead. You may refer to https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/UM10989.pdf for more details.
Hope that helps,
Have a great day,
Kan

I wouldn't even know where to begin with designing an app in the Android Studio. Is there another way I can password protect the NDEF tag?
Hi Tyler,
There is a PC demo for NTAG I2C as well, but you have to use it with a NFC reader such as the Identive CLOUD 3700F reader in OM5569-NT322ER | NTAG I2C plus Explorer Kit + reader | NXP .
The application can be found in the following link:

Hope that helps,
