Hello, I would like to ask some questions about this Table 15, as follows:

1. What is the meaning of Res.

2. Is the Input Max the maximum that the chip can bear? However, the current in my experiment exceeds the Input Max by a large amount, and my experimental value is as follows:

Hi Qiang,

  • The last column indicates the resolution of the measurement. If your value changes with less that amount, the convertor may not be able to pick this up.
  • The minimum and maximum columns before that indicate the range in which this mode can be reliably used. The values will start to clip when the offered analog value is outside this range.

If your input signal is way larger than this range, you need to add a resistor to limit the current flowing to the chip.

Best,
Dries.
