NTAG 5 Link Read ED pin status over I2C

On the NTAG 5 Link (NTP5332), its it possible to read the status of the ED pin output over I2C from the host MCU? Or is it a hard requirement to connect the ED pin to a GPIO pin on the MCU to determine its status?

Hello sir,

Since ED pin is intended to be used as a signal of a pin for triggering an IC. The configuration can be done using the Configuration registers but, unfortunately there isn’t a session register that will show the status of the event. I really hope this may still be helpful for your project.
