I am debugging a problem where the NT3H2111 stops responding to NFC reads. We get error 8010002f, and in the NTAG I2C plus Demo app, when I try to Read tag memory, it says "Error while reading the tag memory". I do not get errors on the NFC write, but the I2C reads do not reflect what I "wrote" from the PC, so it also appears to not be working.
I can see that the I2C bus is fine--we are continually polling NFC, and the NT3H2111 responds, ACK/NAK as usual.
We are stuck in this state until a power cycle, which is not accessible to the end user.
I have not intentionally locked any memory, and the static lock bytes and CC bytes are all 0s.
Any other ideas what could be wrong?
Also, an additional note is that I am also not able to read the session registers from the NXP demo app on the PC--same error as above. If the interface were locked, I believe I should be able to still read the session registers, but I can't. For the configuration registers, the NXP demo app just says "Reading the configuration registers" forever.
