I'm thinking of using the NT3H2XXX in an application that would probably need a flex circuit antenna to fit an odd space. I'm not sure the volume will be high enough to justify a custom flex circuit. Does anyone know of a source for off-the-shelf flexible NFC antennas, like those from the NTAG demo kit? Ideally I'd like to have the NTAG IC on the flex circuit, but that part isn't critical, as long as the performance is decent.
My searches are getting overwhelmed with results for ordinary non-connected tags, and anything listed as an 'antenna' is probably a complete NTAG 213 device.
Thanks,
Scott
Hi Scott,
yes you are right. For one Flex NFC application antenna we did a 2 layer 43um copper and as a Substrate 150micron FR4 PCB that is semi-Flex and has quick (4days) delivery time. (compared to 2-3 weeks plus $$ for polyimide/kapton).
I suggest you to consider this Option.
Hope that this can help.
Best Regards,
Valerio
