Hi there,

I am trying to use NFC cockpit to set the configuration of NTAG 5 link to enable energy harvesting. Clev6630BM was used as the NFC reader.

I tried to read the configuration memory first by typing C0043D00 in the Tx data without flags and the flag is set 0x10. Below is the error I have got:

C0 = read_config

04 = manufacturer

3D = Block Address

00 = Block number

I am not sure how to set the flag and if the request command is incorrect.

Please advise. Thank you.

Hi,

Hope you are doing well. You don't need to write the 04h byte, the NXP Manufacturer code is added by the tool. And you would need to set the flags as 02h. You can try with 02 C03D00 and it should work.

You can check the 4th webinar of the NFC - NTAG® 5 SPOTLIGHTS. And I would recommend the NTAG 5 Cockpit, it is a specialized tool to work with the NTAG 5. (User Guides: NTAG 5 NFC Cockpit, NTAG 5 I2C Cockpit).

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Ricardo

Yes. It works fine without the manufacturer's code.
