Formatting of the empty card in iOS

We have empty Mifare DESfire v2 cards that are not NDEF formatted. Is there any way to format this cards to NDEF format using Apple's CoreNFC?

Hope you are doing great, 

as far as I know it is possible to interact only with NDEF formatted cards, this will require first that you either first use an android phone and the TagWritter app from NXP or  use a PC software first like out TagXplorer to format the card as NDEF and then use it with the IOS, also you can contact the team for IOS support to confirm, as you know this NFC interactions are very limited in IOS.
