Can CLRC663 NFC Reader Library run on 8051 8-bit MCU?

Dear Support,

We have the experience with using NFC Reader Library v06.10.00, going with NXP/ST32L 32-bit ARM MCU and runs very well.

Now we have a new project need to use 8051 8-bit MCU with the reader IC CLRC663. Now we are trying to porting NFC Reader Library to 8051 8-bit MCU platform and meet lots errors and issues to go through. Before, we have used RC522 with 8-bit MCU is OK, but it seems the latest reader IC CLRC663 is hard to work with 8-bit MCU.

The code size of NFC Reader Library is more than 50KB, it consumes most of 8-bit MCU flash memory, which is up to 64KB memory size. 

Do you have customers use 8-bit MCU to work with CLRC663? If so, did they use NFC Reader Library? Or the use below suggestion?

Using the RC663 without library (nxp.com) 

It looks like the without-library-solution only supports small portion of functions that NFC Reader Library can support.

If you have customers can implement NFC Reader Library by using NXP 8-bit MCU, can you tell us what are the MCU? So that we can refer to design in our reader?

Thanks for your prompt reply. We have reviewed the documentation you provided.

We found many examples for the NFC Reader Library  porting, but unfortunately there  are all in ARM based MCU.  

I think for the 8-bit MCU, the RC500/522 may be the better solution.
