CLRC663/MFRC630: Using OUTx signals (in autonomous/automatic way).

Hello,

I'm using the NFC readers CLRC663 and MFRC630 and I want to use the general purpose pins called as OUTx (OUT1 - OUT7).

I understand that the typical use of these pins is to control them by commands (using I2C, SPI or UART). However, I'm interested in other possible functionality. Can these general outputs be controlled directly by RFID? For example, can the behavior of the NFC reader outputs be changed depending on the UID of the NFC card? Maybe these smart conditions could be programmed previously using the interface communications (I2C, SPI or UART), but after that the functionality is automatic and autonomous from the host point of view.

If these devices are not available to perform this functionality, is there any other NFC reader capable of do it?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for using our products.

Unfortunately, CLRC663 is a front-end device that isn't able to configure pins in a session. If you are looking for a solution we may recommend using our PN7462 since this is a solution that already has a cortex- M0 in the same package and offers the possibility of GPIOs usage.

Best Regards,
Fabian
