Hello:

I am learnning FOC with AMCLIB library, but I cannot understand the ξ and ω in the PI parameter calculation formula. The figure below shows the mechanical parameters of the motor. I want to know how to get the specific values of ξ and ω

Hi,

Please check the following application note that describes the parameters calculation of the PI controller  in section 6.4.2. ξ is the speed loop attenuation and ω is the natural frequency of the closed loop system.
