Dear all
I have a question about the MC33HB2000 product.
1. IN1 & IN2 have the same function as VIN1 and VIN2 of SPI.
If so, is there a reason to separate the parallel pin and SPI control?
2. I want to control VIN1 and VIN2 with SPI. If IN1 and IN2 pins are not used, how should the pins be handled?
(ex. open or GND with pull down resistance)
Thanks.
Dear Hy,
1. Yes, VIN1 is SPI equivalent to IN1 parallel pin and VIN2 is SPI equivalent to IN2 parallel pin. So the outputs can be controlled either using the parallel inputs or SPI.
2. If you set the INPUT bit, both IN1 and IN2 pins will be disabled and can be left open.
Best regards,
Tomas
Thanks for your reply.
I have additional questions.
1) Since the SPI bit is disabled, does it not matter if the INx pin is pulled down or up?
2) In the case of other ICs, there is an experience that problems occur when the input pin is open in a
specific environment. What is the internal structure of the INx pin, so it is not a problem even in the
open state?
Thanks.
Thanks.
