Is there a simple tutorial that shows how to configure the components and how to implement the motor control using the Motor Shield L293D with the Freedom KL25Z platform and the Kinetis Design Studio software?

Hi,
According to L293D's RM, you can set pins as gpio to determine the steering of the motor.
And you can set up a PWM to control the motor's speed.

You should do is to configure pins as gpio and configure the pwm .
