We're developing a VCU model in MATLAB/Simulink using the NXP S32K344 platform with MBDT and need to validate our design via SIL simulation—since we don’t have hardware.
Key Questions:
Which MBDT blocks officially support SIL simulation? Are there workarounds to simulate outputs for CAN (especially Extended ID/J1939) and DIO blocks without hardware?
Can Virtual CAN interfaces be integrated with MBDT to emulate realistic CAN network behavior?
How does MBDT interact with the MCAL/AUTOSAR stack? Is there documentation on how MBDT-generated code aligns with AUTOSAR (e.g., RTE interfaces, .arxml files)?
Any insights, best practices, or technical references would be greatly appreciated!
