@hongjinzeng

I am even facing the same issue.

If you have resolved it could you please guide me.

I have uploaded the RBF file provided in MATLAB toolbox for UART0  CAN0.(with S32k144)

Baud Rate :115200.

But I always get Loss of Communication CPP Error.

Hi Hongjin,

Did you tried to power off the board after you flashed the rbf? I used the following steps and worked:

1. Program the rbf using DS, like you mentioned.

2. Power off the board.

3. Open the Boot Loader, load the configuration for S32K, see below the screenshot.

4. Reset the board using the rest button.

5. Start Boot Loader.

Radu

Hi Feng,

If you use the OpenSDA you don't need the rbf, to check the OpenSDA drive open "My Computer", for example in my case is D.

Hi Feng,

I the screenshot you sent I don't see the OpenSDA drive, can you please send a screenshot of your device manager with the COM ports?

If you don't want to use OpenSDA you can configure the Toolbox to automatically download the application through Bootloader by selecting the Serial as Download interface, also Enable BAM Request and set the correct COM port. Please the settings I used below. Also don't forget to first write the rbf file.

Let me know if this scenario works for you.

Hi Feng,

The Speed must be the same as the one configured in Toolbox, please see FreeMASTER config. This example uses 57600 baud rate.

Hi Hongjin,

Please update the speed field to 115200 not 14400. That is the default speed used by the BootLoader.

Best regards,

Radu

No matter how to set the speed, the RappID BL Window Trace Window show init and erasing. Then I use S32DS flash the elf file, but I find a problem when I power off the MCU,then I power on the MCU,the MCU would delay 5 seconds. How to reduce the time?

Hi,

You can set the delay time using the "Download Config" panel.
