Free Master not working with Simulink on S32K144

Hi I have the S32K144 board with MOTOR board with the fets. I am able to download code using simulink. However, when I press the buttons SW2 and SW3 blue LED comes on the motor spins as well. I tried connecting free master but there is no communication DC bus measurements etc. 

How can I enable the freeMaster to work with Simulink generated code. I loaded some S32DS code and I was able to use freemaster with it!

By selecting the elf file in the options of freemaster I am able to see the DC voltage variable and RPM as well but the RPM gauge is still stuck at zero even though the motor is spinning!

So I made some progress. By selecting the .elf file in the options of freemaster I am able to see the DC voltage variable and RPM variable in the variable watch as well but the RPM gauge is still stuck at zero. Even though the motor is spinning!
