Compatibility of MBDT BMS Pkg Add-On with S32k3xx v1.5.0 or Parallel Installation of v1.4.0

I’m trying to use the NXP_Support_Package_BMS Add-On for MBDT, which is officially supported for S32K3xx MBDT v1.4.0.

My system already has MBDT v1.5.0 installed for other ongoing projects, but the add-on does not seem to work with this newer version.

I am currently using the S32K396 POC Board for BMS development.

Is there:

• Any method to make the Add-On compatible with v1.5.0, or
• Is there a way to install and run both v1.4.0 and v1.5.0 in parallel on the same MATLAB installation or system without conflicts?

If parallel installation is possible, please guide me on the correct setup steps.

Hello,

The Model Based Design Toolbox for BMS is currently only compatible with MBD Toolbox for S32K3 1.4.x. At this moment, there is no method to make it compatible with MBD Toolbox for S32K3 1.5.0.

Secondly, it is not possible to install both the v1.4.0 and v1.5.0 in parallel on the same MATLAB installation. The only viable alternative is to have another MATLAB installed (if your license allows it) and install one of the toolbox there.
