 A brand new mcspte1ak344 is ordered, all tools/sws required are installed (S32DS, RTD,SDK, Freemaster, Minwin).

successfully use all models under NXP_MBDToolbox_S32K3\S32K3_Examples\mc\ to create build and downloaded into MCSPTE1AK344 via matlab2025a

, however, when corresponding freemaster pmpx file opened, which fail to communicate with MCSPTE1AK344,

always show error mesage "no board detected on any communication port UART".

after checking windows/device manager, openSDA-CDC Serial port ( http://www.pemicro.com/opensda) (COM10) is detected, its driver show best windows can find.

and another driver called Jungo including PEMicro OpenSDA Debug Driver and pemicrowindrvr also installed.

until now, only build created from mcb_open_loop make freemaster find board at 115200bps, all build from other MBD models from examples failed to make FreeMaster find board.

Please help

Hi @mchuang ,

 

As we previously discussed, one of the issues was caused by shipping , the GD3000 board makes improper contact with the S32K344-T172 board, due to vibrations during shipping. 

To solve this we always recommend to properly insert the GD3000 board on top of the S32K344-T172 board, press on the headers and make sure it is well inserted.

If the connections are not good, then S32K344 might not communicate via SPI with the GD3000 chip, if all is good, the onboard RGBLED will be ON, showing different colors based on the Start/Stop/Fault condition.
