ping timeout for MQX 4.2 on Tower board K70F120M

I am using MQX 4.2 on a Tower board K70F120M. I see that 1 out of 10 ping requests sent to the tower board are getting timed out on consistent basis. Has anyone seen this behavior?

Hi Ravindra,

When I have had Ethernet issues with MQX and Tower kits it usually has been a jumper setting issue.

Please review following document:

C:\Freescale\Freescale_MQX_4_2\doc\MQX_Getting_Started.pdf

Page 50 has the TWR-K70+TWR-SER jumper configuration MQX expects.

The K70 uses the Ethernet clock source from the TWR-SER card to clock both K70 and Ethernet PHY.  This synchronizes the two clock domains.  If they are not synchronized Ethernet issues arise.

That helped. I no more see the ping timeouts after fixing the J18 settings.
