Sending SMS Text Messages

I am wondering how to send SMS messsages using MQX on Kinetis.

Has anybody done it before?

You connect an gsm modem via one uart and then send at command to the modem.

My configuration is k60, simcom sim900 connected via ttl uart. It works very good and stable.
