I see that there is an enablement patch for 3.8 that was recently released.

Has anyone been successful in integrating this into MQX 3.8 and getting this to work?

I have successfully got the TWR-AR4100 working with MQX 3.7 on the TWR-K60n512.  But am not able to get MQX 3.8 with the new 3.8 patch working.

I am using a 4100 not a 4100P.

Just wanted to know if anyone has got this working before I go any further.

thanks

Doug

Hi ,

Check this :  https://community.freescale.com/thread/304770

May be helpful. Also you need to keep TCP/IP stack option too

as you are using AR4100. Also complete documentation given

with Atheros driver , you can follow the step.

Also check the SPI driver. It may have some difference. At present I am trying

with TWR-K60F120M , but still no luck with MQX73.7 (AR4100 patch) with MQX4.0.

Hi,

I installed the MQX 3.6.2 and  the TWR-WIFI-AR4100 MQX 3.6.2 Enablement Patch (Rev1.5) which

were downloaded from the freescale.com/TowerWiFi. But I could not build the bsp target.

The error messages told below

"Could not find or load the file a_config.h for target RegABI for project bsp_trrmcf5229_ATHROS_WIFI.mcp0"

"Could not find or load the file a_debug.h for target RegABI for project bsp_trrmcf5229_ATHROS_WIFI.mcp0"

"Could not find or load the file a_drv.h for target RegABI for project bsp_trrmcf5229_ATHROS_WIFI.mcp0"

"Could not find or load the file a_drv_api.h for target RegABI for project bsp_trrmcf5229_ATHROS_WIFI.mcp0"

"Could not find or load the file a_osapi.h for target RegABI for project bsp_trrmcf5229_ATHROS_WIFI.mcp0"

"Could not find or load the file a_osapi.h for target RegABI for project bsp_trrmcf5229_ATHROS_WIFI.mcp0"

and so on.

And the MQX 3.6.2 Enablement Patch did not install these files( a_config.h, a_debug.h, a_drv.h ... ).

Would you give me any advice.

Thanks

Shoji

Hi,

I try to use the TRW-WIFI-AR4100 module, but I cannot setup QMX with the patch.

I am using IAR compiler so I tried to setup QMX 3.6.2 and the driver patch but when I try to rebuild the project, I have mssing files. All files in the project under mqx/source/io/enet/atheros_wifi are missing.

I installed QMX 3.6.2 and after this I installed the TWR-WIFI-AR4100 MQX 3.6.2 Enablement Patch.

Has anybody already been able to run 1 demo of  the wifi modules?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm tying to testing the TWR-WIFI-AR4100 board with a MCF52259 (TWR board too).

But I'm not able to have the demo and config directories for my target, only for Kinetis...

There is a PDF file which describes the installation :

http://cache.freescale.com/files/wireless_comm/doc/support_info/TWRWIFIAR4100LAB.pdf

But the MQX version is 3.6. I can not start a new project with an older version of the OS !

My computer OS is Win XP, and I tried on my laptop under Win 7 ; the same.

Any ideas ? This board seems not to be used a lot in the world :smileysad:

Regards,

Yvan
