In the attachment you can find the archived update site with the New Project Wizard for MQX 4.0/Codewarrior 10.3.

To install it:

1. Go to the "Help/Install New Software..." menu in CodeWarrior 10.3.

2. Click the "Archive..." button and select the downloaded file. Click the "OK" button.

3. Select the Plug-ins you need (at least "CodeWarrior MQX 4.0 Plug-ins" and one of the architectures).

Best Regards,

Marcin

Hello Tom Junkans,

read file README.TXT in tools/codewarrior_extensions. I'll attach information about cw 10.3:

1) CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers v10.3

Extensions for CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers v10.3 are available via "Update Site" directly in the IDE.

Available in the Help->Install New Software... menu.

MartinK

Me too!

Go the same problem. Everything is Up-To-Date in 'Help->Install New Software'  and 'Help->Check for Updates' and I still have no MQX 4.0 Project. Just MQX-Lite Project with the L-Series.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi Marcin,
I've the same problem, I've installed all the plugin for MQX, but I don't

have the MQX 4.0 Project wizard, just the MQX-Lite. I've notizied that

beatween the plugins there isn't the MQX 4.0 Project wizard component,

wich i find for the other wizard.

Any suggestion ?

Hi Marcin,

I followed your steps to the "T" and was able to get the extension for 'MQX 4.0 Project' within CW 10.3, but I'm unable to TAD. Actually my MQX menu options are all grayed out when debugging that MQX 4.0 project... My understanding of the "CodeWarrior MQX 4.0 Plug-ins" are to also enable TAD.

Please let me know if you can suggest a solution

Tx

Seb

Are you sure that you are using MQX in your project??

I had this problem, too. Response from the support:

The MQX V4.0 has been released 1 week before the MCU V10.3.

The MQX V4.0 installer doesn’t recognized (found) the MCU V10.3 installation.

To avoid problem, you must install them.

Launch MCU V10.3 and install patches Help | Install New Software …

Select FSL MCU Eclipse Update Site - http://freescale.com/lgfiles/updates/Eclipse/MCU10_3/com.freescale.mcu.updatesite

Click on Select All, please sellect all, this is important.

Hello Tobias,

Thanks for your answer. However I have already done what you suggested and when I try to do it again the updater tells me that the updating cannot take place because the most recent files are already installed in my CW.

The MQX menu is not grayed out anymore but when I try to show "task Summary" nothing comes up (I get a blank screen). See attached

Freescale apps, could  you possibly steer me to a solution?

Thanks

Seb

Hi Seb,

when connected to a target, can you go to MQX menu ->  Check for Errors ?

It opens a new tab "MQX Errors". Are there any errors ? Please open MQX TAB Diagnostics (by clicking on the +) and attach the result.

Thanks

-Martin

Hey MartinK, I am up to date with all that 'Help->Install New Software' but still do not have the extension for 'MQX 4.0 Project' This extension was put into CW10.2 when I installed MQX 4.0, but it did not for CW10.3. In CW10.3 I can only start a new example project in MQX 3.8.

Thanks man
