Is it possible to use DMA with the MFS in MQX RTOS?

Hi,

I am using the MQX RTOS with MFS and want to write to SD-Card with the help of DMA, so the CPU wont be busy with the writing operation.

Is it possible?

I am afraid that it is not possible to use DMA for SDCARD (neither SPI nor eSDHC mode) so far.

DMA support is on the schedule so it will be included in future release of MQX.

Hi Pavel,

i ran some tests in mqx 4.0 and it seems that the write speed on SDHC cards are the same as 3.8.1.

is the improvement of speed suppose to be in this release or the next one (MQX 4.1)?

and does the DMA will be used too in the next release?
