Connecting LCD to the M52259EVB

Hi all

I have the M52259EVB and I have connected a basic 2 line by 16 character display

to the LCD connector bus - JP1.

There is a CPLD between the MCF52259 and the LCD and I am wondering how to

make the LCD work. I haven't used CPLDs before.

I have two questions:

1. Is there a demo for controlling LCD in MQX?

2. Can anyone give me some advice how to make the CPLD generate the clock and send

data to the LCD?

which LCD you want to use?

I don't consider that you need CPLD to drive it. You may drive directly with GPIO of MCF52259EVB.

You may use a software which is from CHINA to make dot Matrixs for any letters.

I regard that you may understand how to use it.

Hi

I'm using "dem 16217 syh-ly" LCD module.

Basically I don't want to use the CPLD but the

LCD connector on the M52259EVB is connected to it.
