I would like to consult how to find documentation on the assembly instruction set of the mpc5777c chip,
such as stw,wrteei.

These are two different instruction sets. See attached presentation slide:
BookE comprises 32-bit instructions only:

VLE comprises 16-bit and 32-bit instructions:
http://www.nxp.com/files/32bit/doc/ref_manual/VLEPEM.pdf
It is needed to choose such one that is used in you project. Usually VLE is now much common one and usually default configuration.
