mpc5748G how to erase Flash

I cannot find any buttion only to erase the flash. Could you please tell me how to do this ?

Hello,

S32DS do not have this functionality.

You can load empty elf to erase the device. Or the device is erased prior to any programming. But not separate erase.

You can use for example debuggers like Lauterbach, PLS, GHS, iSystem etc... for it.

Or you can use PPC nexus from PEMicro where erase only is possible.

Another question,  is it still possible to debug the program in SRAM when i use MPC5748G ? I have done this on MPC5604. But i didn't see any option to do this on MPC5748G.

Hello,

Sure, you can debug it with I expect all available debuggers.

Only have in mind that if you reset the device the code from RAM is gone and need to be programmed again. Except non destructive resets / tests.

Could you please tell me where to find the button ? I don't know how to debug the program in the SRAM. There is no buttion to choose.

On CW10.6, i can choose to compile the program in RAM or Flash. I want to know how to do this on S32DS
