ksz8041 suitable for mpc5775b

Hi

I am trying ping for custom mpc5775b board , ide = S32 Design Studio for  PA, and sdk =SDK_S32_PA_15 with ksz8041 PHY device by using example code with modifying pin numbers . i can get PHY related information like PHY id, PHY status, PHY speed with example code of PHY autoneg_mpc5777c  but I don’t get ping response . with example code of  enet_ping_mpc5777c here rx_callback is not happing . Does ksz8041 suitable for mpc5775b ? kindly replay if you know solution

Hi,

it would be possible to use ksz8041 with MPC5775b.

I can recommend to check MAC-PHY connection, MCU pin initialization, if both PHY and MAC are set to be used same MII configuration etc.

phy autoneg_mpc5777c does not config MII interface/pins, just SMI one for communication with PHY registers. 

enet_ping_mpc5777c would be reused, but you would check if setting corresponds with actual connection/configuration on your board.
Be sure buffer and buffer descriptors are in non-cacheable memory, or disable data cache at all.
