is there a way to generate an imediate reset if the watchdog is not enable? Maybe there is a magic register which offer this feature?

I need to make a test with the watchdog not active, but I need also to provoke a SW reset (like a watchdog reset).

Hi,

You can do just mode transition to mode RESET in mode entry module.

In future is better to specify the micro you are using otherwise you will get an general answer applicable for whole family.

You can also use external reset for this purpose.
