<Qorivva Simple Cookbook, Rev. 4>,Table 74. Configure GPIO 181:Pad assignment = EMIOS Ch, PA = 3.
In <MPC5553/MPC5554 Microcontroller Reference Manual>,Table 6-16. SIU_PCR Field Descriptions ,0x3 indicate 'Main Primary Function';
but ,in Reference Manual, Table 2-2. MPC5554 Signal Properties,eMIOS Channel,eMIOS Channel is Function Type 'P'(not 'MP'),which corresponds 'Primary Function',and it seems PA should be 0x1 .
so,my question is:  should PA be 0x1, or 0x3?

Hi,

The Main primary function is used for compatibility. On early MPC55xx devices, the Primary function was defined with PA=3. Later it was changed to have Primary function with PA=1.

On MPC5554, you can use either Primary or Main Primary. Recommendation is to use PA=1 to select Primary function.
