we were trying to debug a working bare board project on a custom MPC5675 board.

After debugging and halting the device once, we were unable to connect the device any further.

The fowlling error had come

1 PASSWORD REQUIRED : Device may be censored. Please enter the password(in hex) to uncensor.

2 EPPC GDI protocol error: Failed to configure target. Processor configured as DPM/LSM opposite of the project settings.

We had attached the Diagnostic information

FAB pin used for BAM was by default configured to Boot from inernal flash.

We had changed the configuration to boot from serial interface.

Then we are able to connect the debugger.

Hi,

have you modified the shadow flash? It looks like the device is censored. In this case, it is possible establish the connection via JTAG in serial boot mode but it is not possible to read the flash content. Only first 16 bytes can be read around the RCHW address:

Could you check if you can read the flash memory in serial boot mode?
