Hi,

I have some question about the filter mode of TIM.

1. The up/down counter mode with rising edge, after F_OUT reaches High level, does the FLT_CNT decremented?

Up_Down_Counter.bmp

2. The Hold counter mode with rising edge, after F_OUT reaches High level, how does the FLT_CNT reset? If the cnt can't be reset, does it means the filter only can work one time?

1) I think functionality clearly follows following statement.

2) I seems to be shown in mixed mode description where detection of falling edge is apparently in de-glitch counter propagation mode with hold counter and reset after F_OUT is set.

Hi, David

Thank you for your reply, I see the description and fig in usermanual.

The falling edge shown in Figure 10-7 is filtered with up/down counter mode. The moment of you marked in red box, after the FLT_CNT reaches FLT_FE, the FLT_CNT reset to 0. I can't find any explicit description about this behaior in UserManual,  and it is contradictory with Figure 10-5.

According to Figure 10-7, Figure10-5 should be like this:

UpDown_C.bmp

and Figure 10-6 should be like this:

Hold_C.bmp

Is my description right?

Best Regards
