Dear NXP Team,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am reaching out to seek assistance regarding an issue I am facing with the NXP MCU part number MPC5775B/E-EYB. Specifically, I am unable to read CAN ID messages on this microcontroller unit. Despite following the available guidelines and documentation, the CAN messages are not being read as expected.

Could you please provide any relevant documentation or guidance that could help resolve this issue? I am particularly interested in detailed instructions or troubleshooting tips related to reading CAN messages and understanding CAN IDs on the MPC5775B/E-EYB MCU.

Your prompt assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. If you require any additional information or specific details about the setup, please let me know.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,

Gokilanandhi P.

Hi,

do you use available driver/example for your testing, or what is your present tries/issues?
You can refer to SDK based demos, although those was not directly done/tested for this board, so little modification will be needed. Some discussion is at https://community.nxp.com/t5/MPC5xxx/MPC5775B-EVB-FlexCAN-Example-Not-working/td-p/1825303

Dear Team,

Thanks for your reply.

We have not changed the software. The kit is having preloaded SW received from NXP Kit (https://www.nxp.com/design/design-center/development-boards-and-designs/automotive-motor-control-sol...). We are just trying to get CAN messages from the kit. Is it really needed to modify the SW to get the CAN msg. Please guide.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,

as far as I know Application Software for MCSPTR2A5775E development kit does not include any CAN related code, so you will need to use different one or add it.
Refer to SDK demos or some baremetal codes at https://community.nxp.com/t5/MPC5xxx-Knowledge-Base/MPC5-software-example-list/ta-p/1102445#MPC5777C
