Question about MPC5748G MCU variants

I have a question about the name's meaning of MPC5748g MCU.

in MCU's name, there is Optional fields.

if this has S it means HSM(Security Module).

if my MPC5748g is HSM, is it impossible to use CAN FD?

No.

As the table say it is required to have at least B version or H to be able to use both HSM and CANFD.

Furthermore S means that there is only HW HSM module with no FW from NXP. You have to write it on your own if you wan to use the HSM module.
