PSMI register in SPC5602B

In the manual for MPC5604BCRM chapter 19 it’s mentioned that PADSEL25 is not available for 100-pin MPC5602B. In fact, we are using this configuration on a SPC5602B and it seems to work fine. Is there a risk that it works now but maybe not in the future???

Hi, PADSEL25 only selects between two possibilities input pads PCR[60] (by default, and it is the pad that is present on 100-pin package) and PCR[106] (not default, and this pad is NOT present on 100-pin package). PADSEL25 = 00 is valid configuration, the rest is invalid. If you code only writes 00 to PADSEL25, it is not an issue.
