Hello,

I have a question to the config of the eMIOS of the MPC5607B.

I want to use the Channel 0, 1, 2, 23 and 24, but the should all listen to the Counter_Bus_A, which is triggered by CH23. Is it possible, to use CH23 as trigger for Counter_Bus_A (Mode 0x50) and as OPWMB (Mode 0x60)?  Which mode I have to select? What about the other state bits ob CH23?

Thanks for your answers.

Hi Stefan,

in OPWMB mode an external counter driven in MCB Up mode must be selected from one of the counter buses.

So if you want to have channels 0, 1, 23 and 24 running in OPWMB mode, it will not be possible. The channel 23 cannot run in OPWMB and also serve counter bus A.

Choose e.g. channel 22 to be running in OPWMB and use channel 23 in MCB mode to provide Counter bus A.

AN2865 (https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN2865.pdf ) shows this setting in chapter 18.
