We are happy to announce OpenPicoRTOS now supports for PowerPC-based MCUs, especially the MPC574xB/C/G and MPC5775B/E series.
Its main advantages are:
- Support for single-core and multi-core SMP
- Compliance with MISRA C & NASA "The power of 10" rules
- A HAL that allows easier ports & better code reusability
- A user-friendly configuration interface & build system
- Automatic code compliance checks
Not all drivers and interfaces are provided/supported, but the project software is free, open-source and can be found on GitHub: https://github.com/jnaulet/OpenPicoRTOS
Demos are provided for the Devkit-MPC5748G & MPC5775E-EVB evaluation boards, so you can check if the software fits your needs.
