Missed CAN packets in Flexcan for MPC5746c

Hi,

we have taken the flexcan example project from S32DS. We have configured in slave mode for listening the can packets from external CAN device in polling mode and we are seeing that the message/packet counts are getting missed.

Please refer the below snapshot of the flexcan project referred.

"File>Import>S32DS_Example_Project> MPC5746C>demo_apps>flexcan_mpc5746c"

We sent total of 935 packets from external CAN adapter (via CAN0) and receiving 886 messages in the flexcan_mpc5746c driver firmware.

Could anyone suggest how to solve this missed packets?

If someone shed some inputs, i will be very thankful to him

Hi,

you have selected pretty old SDK version, so first use the latest one (RTM 3.0.0). There was many fixes during SDK updates.

If latest SDK is not installed in your S32DS, the guidance for an update is given here https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-343797
